The ten plagues in order (Exodus 7-12) were: water turned to blood, frogs, gnats, flies, death of livestock, boils, hail, locusts, darkness, and death of the firstborn.
God sent the plagues to compel Pharaoh to release the Israelites from slavery and to demonstrate His power over the gods of Egypt (Exodus 7:5, 12:12).
The tenth plague — the death of the firstborn. Israelite households that marked their doorframes with lamb's blood were passed over, instituting the Passover festival (Exodus 12).
“The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it.”
