What are Bible Collections?

Bible Collections are curated sequences of quizzes grouped around a theme, book, or learning goal. Instead of picking random quizzes from the library, a collection gives you a structured path — a beginning, a middle, and an end.

Each collection contains 6 quizzes arranged in a deliberate order. The sequence matters: quizzes build on each other so your understanding develops progressively rather than jumping around. Think of a collection as a short Bible course, not just a playlist.

Collections are free and open to everyone. No account is required to start, though signing in lets you track your scores and progress across each collection.

How to follow a collection

Navigate to the Collections page and choose one that matches your interest or skill level. On the collection page you'll see all 6 quizzes listed in order with their difficulty, question count, and estimated time.

Work through the quizzes in order — start with quiz 1 and complete each before moving to the next. There's no system locking you out of later quizzes, but the ordering is intentional and skipping ahead reduces the learning benefit.

Each quiz in a collection works exactly like any other FaithBlitz quiz — multiple choice questions, scripture references after each answer, a results screen with your score, and the option to retry missed questions or enter study mode.

Your scores from collection quizzes count toward the regular leaderboard and your XP total — there's no separate collection scoring system.

Difficulty levels explained

Collections are rated on four difficulty levels:

Beginner — Easy questions accessible to anyone, including children and people new to the Bible. No prior knowledge assumed.

Intermediate — Questions require familiarity with the major stories, people, and books of Scripture. Good for regular churchgoers and Bible readers.

Advanced — Questions test detailed knowledge of obscure passages, minor characters, and specific theological content. For serious Bible students.

Mixed — The collection contains a blend of easy, medium, and hard quizzes. Difficulty varies by quiz within the collection.

The difficulty rating applies to the collection as a whole. Individual quizzes within a collection may vary slightly — a Mixed collection might start easy and get harder as you progress.

Which collection should I start with?

If you're new to Bible trivia or haven't read the Bible much, start with the Beginner's Bible Path. It's designed to be welcoming, fun, and confidence-building rather than challenging.

If you're a regular churchgoer with solid Bible knowledge and want to go deeper on the New Testament, the Gospels Deep Dive is the best starting point. The four Gospels are the most important texts in Christianity and this collection covers them systematically.

If you're preparing for Easter or studying Holy Week, the Easter Journey collection is specifically built for that purpose and works any time of year.

If you consider yourself a serious Bible student and want to test your limits, go straight to the Hard Mode Challenge. It's genuinely difficult and covers content most casual readers have never encountered.

Scores and progress tracking

There's no separate progress tracker for collections — FaithBlitz doesn't lock quizzes or display a completion percentage per collection. This is intentional: collections are learning tools, not achievement systems.

What does get tracked is your score on each individual quiz within the collection. If you're signed in, every quiz you complete is saved to your profile with your score, difficulty, and timestamp. You can return to any quiz in a collection at any time and replay it.

Your scores from collection quizzes contribute to your monthly leaderboard total and your permanent XP the same as any other quiz. Hard quizzes in a collection earn the ×2.0 difficulty multiplier, making the Hard Mode Challenge especially valuable for leaderboard climbers.

Using Study Mode with collections

Every quiz in a collection has a Study Mode — a flashcard-style review of all questions and answers with scripture references and explanations. Study Mode is the best way to deeply learn the content before or after taking the quiz.

A good approach for serious learners: take the quiz first to see where you stand, then use Study Mode to review the questions you got wrong, then retake the quiz to test your improvement. Each quiz also has a Retry Missed option on the results screen that lets you immediately re-practice only the questions you got wrong.

Study Mode doesn't award points or affect your streak — it's purely for learning.

Pick a collection and start

Not sure where to begin? The Beginner's Bible Path is always a good answer.
