What is the Daily Bible Challenge?

Every day FaithBlitz selects one Bible quiz as the daily challenge. It's the same quiz for every user that day — a level playing field where everyone competes on identical questions at the same time.

The challenge resets at midnight UTC. Complete it before then to keep your streak alive, earn your daily points, and register your score on the leaderboard for that day.

The daily quiz is free and open to everyone. No account is required to play — but you'll need a free account to have your streak tracked, your score saved, and your name appear on the leaderboard.

How is the daily quiz chosen?

The daily quiz is selected automatically from FaithBlitz's library of published quizzes using today's date as a seed. This means the rotation is consistent and unpredictable — you can't game it by checking ahead, and it cycles through the full library over time.

Every quiz in the library is eligible. That means some days you'll get an easy Genesis quiz, other days a hard quiz on the Minor Prophets. The variety is intentional — it keeps the challenge fresh and pushes you into parts of Scripture you might not normally explore.

How streaks work

Your streak is the number of consecutive days you've completed the daily challenge. Complete today's challenge and your streak goes up by one. Miss a day and it resets to zero.

A few things worth knowing about streaks:

Streaks are based on calendar days, not 24-hour windows. If you play at 11:50pm one night and 12:10am the next morning, that counts as two separate days — your streak is safe.

Only your first completion of the day counts toward your streak. Replaying the quiz is allowed, but won't extend or protect your streak beyond the first play.

Your streak is shown on your profile page and on the community leaderboard. For many users it becomes the primary motivation for showing up every day — which is exactly the point.

Streak bonus points

Longer streaks earn bonus points on top of your regular quiz score. The bonuses are:

3 days — +25 bonus points 7 days — +100 bonus points 14 days — +200 bonus points 30 days — +500 bonus points

These bonuses stack. Hitting a 30-day streak earns all four bonuses simultaneously. A player on a 30-day streak who scores perfectly on a hard daily quiz can earn significantly more points than a new player on the same quiz.

Streak bonuses are calculated automatically and added to your score when you complete the quiz.

How scoring works

Your base score is determined by how many questions you answer correctly. Each correct answer earns points, and difficulty multipliers mean harder quizzes are worth more.

Easy quizzes carry a standard multiplier. Medium quizzes carry a higher multiplier. Hard quizzes carry the highest multiplier. So a perfect score on a hard daily quiz is worth substantially more than a perfect score on an easy one.

Your daily score is added to your monthly total, which determines your rank on the monthly leaderboard. At the end of each season (quarterly), standings are recorded and the leaderboard resets for the next season.

XP (experience points) accumulates permanently on your profile regardless of seasons — it never resets.

The leaderboard and seasons

The FaithBlitz leaderboard tracks monthly scores across all users. Your daily quiz scores accumulate throughout the month, and your rank updates in real time.

Seasons run quarterly. At the end of each season, top performers are recognised and the monthly leaderboard resets. Your all-time XP and quiz history are never deleted — only the seasonal rankings reset.

To appear on the leaderboard you need a free account. Guest plays are not tracked.

Tips for maintaining a long streak

The hardest part of the daily challenge isn't the quiz — it's remembering to show up every day. A few things that help:

Same time every day. Morning works best for most people. Set a phone reminder for the same time each day and treat it like a habit, not a decision.

Don't finish the day without playing. If you've made it to 9pm without touching the daily quiz, do it before bed. Don't let the clock run out.

The quiz takes 5–10 minutes. It's short enough to fit into almost any day, including busy ones. There's no reason to skip.

Use the streak as motivation. Once your streak hits 7 or 14 days, the thought of losing it becomes a powerful motivator. Let it work on you.

Sign in before you play. Guest plays don't count toward streaks. Make sure you're signed in before you start the quiz.
