What is Church Group Mode?
Church Group Mode is a Pro feature that lets you run a live Bible quiz class from FaithBlitz. You create a group, share a 6-character join code with your students, assign quizzes from the full FaithBlitz library, and watch every student's score and accuracy appear in real time on your dashboard.
It's designed for Sunday school teachers, youth group leaders, homeschool co-ops, and anyone running a Bible class who wants to make quizzes interactive and trackable without any extra software.
Church Group Mode requires Pro
Church Group Mode is only available to Pro members. If you don't have Pro yet, you can upgrade at faithblitz.com/pro for $4.99/month or $39.99/year.
Pro also unlocks unlimited printable PDF study packs, answer keys, and all 53 weekly Bible reading packs — so it's worth it well beyond groups alone.
Students who join your group do not need Pro. They only need a free FaithBlitz account to join a group and complete assignments.
How to create a group
To create a group, go to faithblitz.com/groups while logged in as a Pro member and click "Create New Group."
You'll be asked to give the group a name — something like "Sunday School Class," "Youth Group," or "Homeschool Co-op." Once you create it, FaithBlitz generates a unique 6-character join code automatically. This code is what your students will use to join.
You can create as many groups as you need. There's no limit on groups or members.
How to assign a quiz
Once your group is created, open it and click the assign button. You can search the entire FaithBlitz quiz library — over 500 quizzes across every book of the Bible — and assign any quiz to the group.
Assigned quizzes appear on each member's dashboard with a clear indicator that it's a group assignment. Students complete it at their own pace — there's no timed session or live room required.
You can assign as many quizzes as you like. Each assignment is tracked separately so you can compare scores across different quizzes.
Viewing student scores
Once students complete an assigned quiz, their scores appear immediately in your group dashboard. For each student you can see their score, the number of questions they answered correctly, and their accuracy percentage.
The dashboard updates in real time — no refresh required. This makes it easy to run a quiz live in class and watch results come in as students complete it on their phones or tablets.
If a student hasn't completed an assignment yet, they show as pending in the dashboard. You can see at a glance who's done and who hasn't.
Tips for getting the most out of Group Mode
Start with a quiz that matches your current lesson. If your class is studying the Book of Acts, assign an Acts quiz and use the results to drive discussion afterward.
For in-class use, have students open faithblitz.com on their phones before you start. Assign the quiz while they're seated and give them 5–10 minutes to complete it. The live dashboard lets you see results as they come in.
For homework, assign the quiz at the end of class and check the dashboard before your next session to see who completed it and how they scored.
You can create separate groups for different classes or age groups and track them independently. All your groups appear on the same Groups page.
