What did the plagues do to Egypt?+

The plagues caused terrible destruction throughout Egypt. They destroyed crops and water supplies, brought disease to people and animals, and caused great suffering. Each plague was designed to show God's judgment on Egypt and Pharaoh's stubbornness until finally Pharaoh let the Israelites leave.
