What Are FaithBlitz Challenges?
FaithBlitz Challenges let you turn a completed Bible game into a challenge another person can actually play.
This is different from simply posting a score screenshot.
When you create a challenge, FaithBlitz generates a unique challenge link connected to your completed result.
Your friend opens that link and sees that they have been challenged along with the result they are trying to beat.
They then select ⚔️ Accept Challenge, and FaithBlitz sends them into the appropriate Bible game.
The challenge is asynchronous, so both people do not have to be online at the same time.
You can play now, send the challenge, and your friend can respond later.
Challenge links remain active for 30 days, giving the recipient plenty of time to accept and play before the challenge expires.
How to Challenge a Friend on FaithBlitz
The basic challenge process works the same whether you are playing a Bible quiz or Bible Chain.
1. Finish a Bible Game
Start by completing one of the supported FaithBlitz experiences:
* A Bible quiz
* The daily Bible Chain puzzle
* A Bible Chain Challenge someone else sent you
Your challenge is created from a completed game result.
2. Select Challenge a Friend
After you finish, select Challenge a Friend from the result screen.
FaithBlitz creates a unique challenge connected to that completed attempt.
You are challenging someone to beat a real result — not simply sending them to the FaithBlitz homepage.
3. Share Your Challenge Link
Send the challenge using your preferred sharing option or copy the link yourself.
You can share it through places such as:
* Text message
* Messenger
* Family group chats
* Bible study chats
* Church groups
* Youth group conversations
Your friend only needs the challenge link.
4. Your Friend Opens the Challenge
The challenge page shows who or what they are up against and gives them an ⚔️ Accept Challenge option.
They do not have to install anything.
They can also play as a guest without creating a FaithBlitz account first.
5. They Play the Challenge
FaithBlitz automatically sends the recipient into the correct game.
For a quiz challenge, they play the corresponding quiz and difficulty.
For Bible Chain, they receive the appropriate Bible Chain puzzle based on when the challenge was created.
6. Compare the Results
After the recipient completes the game, FaithBlitz has a recorded completed result tied to the challenge.
Players can compare how they performed, and the recipient can create a new challenge from their own result and challenge someone else.

Bible Chain creates several ways to compete.
Your result can include information such as:

That means two people can solve the same puzzle differently.
You may find the answer first.
Your friend may find a shorter route.
Someone else may recognize a Bible relationship neither of you considered.

What Happens When Someone Challenges You to Today's Bible Chain?
Bible Chain has one Daily Challenge each day, so FaithBlitz handles same-day challenges carefully.
If someone challenges you to today's puzzle and you have not played the Daily Challenge yet, accepting the challenge takes you into the normal Daily Bible Chain.
That single completed play can count toward both:
* Your normal Daily Challenge
* The challenge someone sent you
You still receive the normal Daily gameplay and streak treatment while also completing the friend challenge.
You are not forced to choose between your daily game and accepting someone's challenge.
What If the Bible Chain Challenge Is From an Earlier Day?
This is where Bible Chain Challenge Mode comes in.
Suppose a friend plays Bible Chain today but you do not open their challenge until several days later.
The normal Daily Challenge has already changed.
Instead of sending you to today's completely different puzzle, FaithBlitz loads the original archived puzzle that your friend played.
You receive the same Start and Target characters through Challenge Mode.
Challenge Mode is separate from today's Daily Challenge.
Playing an older challenge:
* Does not replace today's Daily Challenge
* Does not consume your normal daily attempt
* Does not award the normal Daily Challenge XP
* Does not change your normal Daily streak
* Can still count as a completed friend challenge
You can therefore accept an older Bible Chain challenge and still play today's normal Daily Challenge separately.
The challenge must still be accepted within its 30-day active window.
What If You Already Played That Bible Chain?
The Daily Challenge remains one normal Daily attempt.
If you already completed that puzzle before opening someone's challenge link, the challenge does not simply give you another Daily attempt so you can try again with advance knowledge.
FaithBlitz instead shows the relevant comparison.
This keeps Bible Chain challenges tied to genuine play rather than allowing repeated Daily attempts until someone gets the result they want.
Challenge Links Don't Reveal the Answer
A challenge should make your friend curious without spoiling the game.
FaithBlitz challenge pages can show the performance your friend is trying to beat without exposing the solution itself.
For Bible Chain, that means the shared challenge does not reveal your actual character path.
For quizzes, the challenge does not give the recipient your quiz answers.
They still have to play.
Do You Need an Account to Accept a Challenge?
No.
FaithBlitz Challenges are designed so someone can receive a link, open it, and start playing without being forced to register first.
Guest play matters because a challenge is much easier to accept when the first experience is:

Create an account before you can see the game.
After playing, a guest can choose to create a free FaithBlitz account.
Creating an account links the player's FaithBlitz identity so eligible challenge and referral activity can be connected to that account and processed appropriately.

How Social XP Works
FaithBlitz Challenges are designed around real participation, not share-button clicks.
You do not earn Social XP simply because you:

* Post a challenge on social media
* Generate challenge views
A social reward requires verified downstream activity.
For example, eligible challenge activity can reward the person who created the challenge after the completed play is properly connected within the FaithBlitz system.
Referral rewards can also recognize meaningful milestones when a new referred player:
* Creates an account
* Returns and completes qualifying FaithBlitz content on a later day
* Builds an established FaithBlitz streak
A qualifying return can come from normal FaithBlitz play, including Bible Chain, Challenge Mode, or quizzes.
The point is simple:
Sharing the link is not the accomplishment. Getting another person to actually play is.
Why Doesn't FaithBlitz Reward Every Share?
A Share button cannot prove that another person actually played.
Rewarding the button itself would make Social XP easy to farm and would make season leaderboards less meaningful.
FaithBlitz instead connects Social XP to activity the system can verify.
That lets real players share challenges naturally while keeping competitive scoring more trustworthy.
Can You Keep Challenging the Same Friend?
Yes.
Friends can continue challenging one another.
However, Social XP is not designed to let two people repeatedly trade challenges simply to manufacture unlimited season points.
Repeated qualifying challenge activity between the same creator and player can receive reduced Social XP and eventually no additional challenge-completion reward.
The challenges themselves can still be fun to play.
The reward controls exist to protect the competitive economy, not to stop friends from competing.
Is There a Social XP Limit?
FaithBlitz limits how much Social XP can contribute to a player's Season Score.
This prevents referral activity from overwhelming normal Bible gameplay on seasonal leaderboards.
Eligible Social XP above the seasonal limit can still remain part of the broader Lifetime XP system.
FaithBlitz also uses qualification and anti-abuse checks so self-challenges, duplicate activity, automated behavior, and manipulated referral activity do not become an easy route to leaderboard points.

FaithBlitz Challenges can turn an ordinary family group chat into a Bible game.

No. Challenge Mode for an older puzzle is separate from the current Daily Challenge and does not consume today's Daily attempt or modify the normal Daily streak.
